Polaroid Announces Its First Grey Label Line of Devices – The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer

The new Polaroid GL10 instant mobile printer is now officially available for pre-order. The product is the first Grey Label line of devices to make it to market after the naming of pop star Lady Gaga as the creative director of Polaroid in 2010. The device is supposed to be co-designed by Polaroid and Lady Gaga herself.

The Grey Label GL10 Instant Mobile Printer which costs $170 connects itself wirelessly via USB to computers and digital cameras and via Bluetooth to Smartphones including Blackberry, Android, and Windows phones. The GL10 is relatively portable with a very sleek design and weighs at just 15 ounces and can print 3 x 4 inch Polaroid-style white border or full bleed snapshots.
This Bluetooth enabled printer also boasts a Lithium-ion battery that is capable of printing 35 photos per charge using the company’s Zink print technology to print photos instantly that are sent from cell phones or other Bluetooth-compatible devices.
Pre-orders for the GL10 are being taken on Polaroid.com.
