Xi3 Corporation, one of the renowned company has recently announced the launch of the world’s first desktop computer which has been designed to run on the Google Chrome operating system and this device is known as Chromium PC Modular computer. It looks pretty interesting and features some decent specifications as well.
Chromium PC is placed in an aluminium chassis which holds in itself three small sized and interconnected modules. These three modules or boards are known as Processor Module, the Primary I/O Module and Secondary I/O Module.
The processor module is that module which consists of the microprocessor and the RAM. On the other hand, the Primary module houses the external connectivity ports. The third module which is the Secondary Module has got in its share the Ethernet, Video and power connections. This device has been made to be powered by a dual or a single core 64 bit, x86 based processor.
