D-Link MainStage Adapter Expands Laptop Experience to HDTVs

The latest product from D-Link called as the MainStage Adapter allows laptop users to experience movies and games on a wide screen. The peripheral links the laptops to big screen HDTVs thus the allowing users to display all the content onto the screen together with HD clarity and 5.1 surround sound from an Intel Core processor-powered notebook.

The laptops can be connected to the TV using the adapter by plugging an HDMI or A/V cable in order to view movies on wide screens through the router just upon hitting a button. The adapter allows the users to use the laptop even while it is streaming the movies or a presentation on to other wide screens.
The adapter is compatible with Intel Wireless Display-enabled devices while 1080p, Blu-ray and content playback is present in PCs with the second generation Intel Core processor. The device requires a graphics driver, built-in visuals and media player compatibility along with Intel WiDi software installations.
