The latest gadget from Colorfly is the Pocket HiFi C4 Pro – A personal media player apt for steampunk fans that is hand-engraved. It looks awesome with its black walnut case, the retro pushrod volume slider, and the brassy face.
It is made of wood and gold and can play 24 bit/192 KHz WAV files. It uses a CIRRUS Logic CS4398 DAC and CS8422 SRC chipset that offers crisp and clear sound for a range of up to 120 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 108dB. The headphone sockets which include a 3.5mm jack, a quarter-inch jack along with a built-in 13.3 mW amp, the phono outputs and microSD card slot are all gold-plated.
In addition, this device has a SPDIF port and it supports both 6.3mm and 3.5mm headphone jacks.
However, the weirdest disadvantage of this audio player is that it seems to have no storage. It comes with a heavy price tag of $800 and doesn’t include the microSD card and headphones.
