Super Micro Extends Its Industry Leadership at ISC 2011

Super Micro Computer, Inc., world leader in server technology innovation and green computing, prepares to spotlight its latest HPC solutions at the ISC 2011 held in Hamburg, Germany from 19 – 23 June.


Super Micro plans to introduce its new high-density GPU SuperServers 1U (1026GT-TRF) and 2U (2026GT-TRF) which support up to 4 and 6 GPUs respectively. Other innovative products from its newest fleet include the GPU SuperBlade (SBI-7126TG) which provides 20 GPUs and 20 CPUs in a 7U enclosure; the TwinBlade (SBA-7222G-T2) that is capable of supporting up to 3,840 Cores per rack; and the 4-Way SuperBlade (SBA-7142G-T4), a high-performance platform with QDR 40Gb/s InfiniBand or 10GbE connectivity per blade.
Also on display at the event will be the company’s newest enterprise-class 8-Way, 5U SuperServer (5086B-TRF), a high-performance platform, supporting up to 80 Cores/2TB of memory and specifically designed for high availability computing environments.
In addition, a live demo of the Intel MIC card integrated into its latest 1U 6016GT-TF SuperServer will be a highlight to the event. This server is said to accommodate two MIC cards and run trillions of calculations per second boosting the overall performance while retaining the benefits of standard Intel processors.
