The New Edge High Definition 2 Mini PC

The new subsequent to the Edge HD Mini PC which was regarded as the smallest PC in the world is now going to be available very soon, PC hardware manufacturer Sapphire has freshly launched the Edge HD2 Mini PC – a fully featured PC for home, studying and business use.

HD2 Mini PC is not only smaller in size, but also energy saving. Sapphire claims that the HD2 Mini PC will be consuming less than 30W even under load which is around 10 times less power than a typical desktop PC. The PC will be accompanied by a VESA mount so that the users can easily fit it behind a monitor or TV.

In this device you will get high graphics resolution, like a real image. With this device you will not need to buy any sound output device because the high-resolution graphics output is supported with a full HD HDMI interface and the PC also boasts a VGA monitor output and includes a built-in audio with mic-in and line-out sockets. An HDMI cable and HDMI-DVI adapter also supplied along with the PC.

You will have all those specifications which you need in your PC. Specifications for this small PC include an Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz dual core processor with 1 MB Cache, 2GB DDR3 memory, and a 320GB hard drive for storage. The PC also has nVidia ION2 graphics with 512MB RAM. It has a built in wireless connectivity and includes a high speed LAN port and 4 USB 2.0 ports.

The price for the HD2 PC is not available yet now but it is expected to cost a bit more than the Sapphire’s Edge HD which retails for around £250.
