The Motorola Titanium Is the New Rugged Android Smartphone

The Motorola Titanium is the first iDen candybar handset combining the Nextel Direct Connect from Sprint and Android 2.1. The handset features a QWERTY keypad and it has a 3.1 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels.

The phone is claimed to be completely rugged and it meets the 810G military specifications for surviving dust, high temperature, solar radiation and shock.
The handset’s screen improves the viewing experience further as it features a proximity sensor and ambient light detector. Other specifications for the Motorola Titanium include: 512 GB internal memory that can be extended up to 32 GB; a 5 mega pixel camera with 4x digital zoom, auto focus and LED flash; HD video recording at 720p; Wi-Fi; micro USB 2.0; and, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR.
The phone has a noise reduction feature for undisrupted calling, and it also enables streaming and progressive download. Google Mail, WebKit and Push Email are also supported and Google Talk is also available in the form of instant messenger.
The phone has a HTML browser for internet browsing it the music player supports different formats like MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, MIDI, and OGG. The phone is priced at around Rs. 7000.
