The Samsung Character is another latest and user-friendly handset from Samsung Mobile to be released with U.S. Cellular. With its full QWERTY keyboard, the phone is ideal for users who are looking for an interactive cell phone with full messaging capabilities.
Along with the slide-out keyboard, the phone further features: 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen; on-board music player; 1.3 MP camera; and, Bluetooth (v2.1). It is also accompanied with a built in browser and software for voice recognition and also includes GPS Technology.
This touchpad-slide phone runs Samsung’s custom TouchWiz Lite interface. Available in blue and gray, the phone offers three menu screens and three home screens for widget support. It also enables the users to personalize the phone through the Native Music Player or by using easyedge to download ringtones and wallpapers.
The phone is now available through U.S. Cellular and is priced at $39.99 after a mail-in rebate of $50 with a 2-year contract agreement.
