Spice Introduces New 7-inch Android Tab Called MiTab

Spice Mobile has recently launched an Android Tab called as the MiTab that has a huge 7-inch display and is equipped with an 800 MHz Snapdragon processor. The tab seems to compete with the recently launched Reliance 3G Tab and the like.

The main drawback of the Spice MiTab seems to be its Android version as it runs on Android 2.2  Froyo whereas the latest 2.3 version has become a standard version for most the mobiles. It has 32 GB expandable memory and also includes other essential features such as Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS.
MiTab’s massive screen has capacitive touch technology and it has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It comes with dual cameras – one 2 mega pixel camera at the rear and a VGA camera at the front that supports video calling.
Other features such as Bluetooth; Adobe flash player; and HTML are also included.  The device is priced at Rs. 12,990 and the exact launch date is not yet disclosed.
