Idea ID-280 & Blade – Low Cost Android Phones

Idea Cellular Ltd has launched two low cost Android phones: the ID-280 and Blade with exceptional 3G capabilities.

The two models differ in their size with ID-280 having a screen size of 28-inch while Blade has a 3.5-inch screen resulting in the slight difference in cost. MRP of ID-280 is Rs. 5850/- while that of Blade is Rs. 7992/- with most of the other features common.This is coupled with an introductory offer of Rs. 3500 worth of 3G benefits making them more attractive.

A 528MHz Qualcom processor with Android 2.2 operating system and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps give this a powerful support to enjoy seamless 3G data speeds. Both support a highly responsive capacitive multi touch screen with a gravity sensor. GPS helps you find your way while Google brings information to your fingertips with its Opera Mini browser.

With a Li-Ion 1250mAH battery, you get battery backup of 8 hours. It has an internal memory of 256MB RAM and external memory expandable up to 32GB.
