Iphone 4 pros & cons

The iPhone 4 is the newest and most updated iPhone released by Apple to AT&T customers. It has rapidly become one of the most popular phones of all time. The new phone will be making the jump from AT&T to Verizon Wireless in early Feb.

Many consumers cannot think of any possible way Apple could exceed expectations from the iPhone 3GS, but the iPhone 4 is proof that something can always be improved.

First off, the iPhone is a unique device because Apple combines two important devices together into one: an iPod and a cellular phone. By joining the two, Apple allows consumers to carry one device that does just about everything.

The iPhone 4 also has one of the most impressive touch screens that I have ever experienced on any phone. Most touch screens are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, leads to frustration in customers. The touch screen on the iPhone 4 is what makes texting on this device so simple. It also makes browsing the internet as easy as possible.

I have been in many arguments with friends about simple facts that could be resolved by using the Internet, but nobody ever had access to it. The problem was solved when I purchased my iPhone 4 because I can now search anything.

The high-resolution screen and the camera quality are the most impressive features in the iPhone 4. Its screen makes watching YouTube videos and movies on the iPhone much more enjoyable. The camera has always been a feature that Apple never focused on, but that is not the case with the iPhone.

This phone has a five megapixel camera with zoom features and video features that make capturing any moment memorable. There is also has a camera on both sides of the phone, which allows you to utilize FaceTime, the newest feature on the iPhone 4.

In any WiFi area, FaceTime allows you to connect with other iPhone 4 users and communicate through video chat, much like Skype. The iPhone 4 also has other features such as multitasking different applications, which allows you to switch between applications without losing your spot on the previous application.

All of the benefits make the iPhone a must-have for any technology junkie, but there are a couple bugs and quirks that do need to be fixed. For starters, Apple promised extended battery life in their iPhone and I have yet to experience this.

As a matter of fact, the battery can be worse than my iPhone 3GS at times, which is really frustrating. I am surprised sometimes when my iPhone would go through a whole day without dying.

A huge issue with the iPhone 4 is caused by the antenna that is placed on the exterior of the phone. Since the iPhone 4 is sleeker and slimmer than its predecessor, its antenna has been placed on the exterior of the phone. If your hands are positioned in the right place, calls are easily dropped and you will struggle to find service in certain areas most of the time. This issue can be helped by purchasing an exterior case for the iPhone because that will help protect the antenna.

Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives for the iPhone 4. This has been the greatest and most convenient phone that I have ever owned. It is easily a top seller for AT&T and when it is released for Verizon Wireless, I am sure their sales will soar.

Follow Your Dreams..

Trouble arrives in measures,
and we stack it up real high,
until we're convinced,
we have no reason to try.
If you feel defeated,
you're absolutely wrong,
for if you follow your dream,
you could never lose for long.
Ignore the minor set-backs
that pile up and trouble you,
or you will build a mountain,
out of the stones hurled at you.
The future holds great promise,
your destiny unknown,
but God is always helping,
and you're never alone.
Soar bravely toward your goal.
Let nothing darken the way.
You can change your tomorrow,
if you seek your dream today.

App to block calls, sms while driving

Don't have the willpower to decline calls or texts when you're driving? Well, a German telecom company has come up with an application that does it for you.
T-Mobile has developed a new service, DriveSmart Plus, which automatically disables most texting and calling features when a phone senses that it is in motion.
"We heard loud and clear from our customers that distracted driving is an issue they care deeply about. They want to help themselves drive responsibly, and they want to make sure their kids are doing the same," ABC News quoted Torrie Dorrell, T-Mobile USA's vice president of applications, content and games, as saying.
The 4.99 dollars per month application, developed by Emeryville, Calif.-company Location Labs, will be available to T-Mobile customers with Android smartphones.
When activated, the DriveSmart application determines how quickly a phone is switching between cell phone towers. When it senses that the phone is moving faster than 10 mph, within a few minutes, it automatically sends phone calls to voicemail or a hands-free Bluetooth headset (depending on which version the customer selects). It sends text messages to a user's inbox.
Depending on the phone, the application can also disable audible alerts so that the driver isn't even aware of incoming messages.
If drivers want to override the service for an emergency call or if users want to override the feature while they're in the passenger seat (or even on a moving bus), DriveSmart allows that.
Location Labs' CEO Tasso Roumeliotis said the application would initially only be available on newer T-Mobile Android phones. But considering that the response to the service has been "exceptional," they hope to reach other platforms. (ANI)

Is your cellphone original?

One out of every five cellphones sold in the world are illegal or unlicensed copycats, hurting the position of producers like Nokia in emerging markets, the world top manufacturer by volume said on Friday.
"It is mostly China-originated, but it is global. It is not only in Asia, but also in Latin America and even in some parts of Europe," said Esko Aho, a member of Nokia's executive board.
Surging growth of no-brand manufacturers coupled with growing smartphone sales boosted third-quarter cellphone sales 35 percent, Research firm Gartner said in November. It raised its outlook for growth in 2010, which it forecast would top 30 percent.
Gartner estimated grey market share had increased to even above 20 percent, but many other market followers have doubted the estimate.

India's 60th REPUBLIC DAY

26th January 1950 after proclaiming India a Republic, the retiring Governor General, C Rajagopalachari, invited the first elected Indian President Dr. Rajendra Prasad to occupy the Presidential seat in the Durbar Hall at the Government House. Thus began a new era.

Saga of a new nation began .Since then this day is celebrated as our Republic Day with much fan fare. Each year we invite a special guest of honor who witnesses the Republic Day parade held in New Delhi.

This year we have the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the Chief Guest. Normally the chief guests are invited from countries with whom India prefer special relationship. With the bilateral trade crossing $10miilion mark Indonesia has been accorded the pride of place in this year’s celebration.

Let's Share our view on this one of the important event of INDIA..

Kingston USB 3.0 2011 Roadmap Revealed

Without a doubt, USB 3.0 is heading at light-speed towards mainstream status, and for this reason, Kingston has some pretty big plans regarding the SuperSpeed standard for 2011, as the company revealed at CES 2011, in Las Vegas.

As some of you will certainly remember, back in September 2010, Kingston unveiled its first-ever USB 3.0 offering, namely the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0, that we've also had the chance of testing ourselves, and found to be probably the fastest USB flash drive released on the market to this date.

For this reason, it should come as no surprise that Kingston's 2011 USB 3.0 lineup also includes a refresh of the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0, that will probably come equipped with a single-chip controller, while the company also plans to come up with an entry-level USB 3.0 flash drive targeting mainstream consumers, who're not willing to cough up a higher sum in order to enjoy the enhanced data transfer rates enabled by their brand-new SuperSpeed enabled systems.

Naturally, Kingston has also planned a very interesting offering for enthusiasts and power users, the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0, its fastest USB 3.0 drive to date that will serve as the flagship model and be part of the HyperXperience line, a series of high-end Kingston products that will include SSDs, USB flash drives and memory cards.

“We have already seen the successful adoption of our DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 and HyperX MAX 3.0 External drive amongst early adopters demanding faster data transfer rates in portable form factors,” said Andrew Ewing, Flash drive business manager, Kingston.

“As USB 3.0 technology grows and more platforms and computers support the USB 3.0 standard, we recognize the need to develop different solutions to address various target markets and help drive adoption,” added Mr. Ewing.

Of course, all we can do right now is wait and see whether Kingston manages to stick to this roadmap all through 2011, but we certainly hope so, since that would translate into even faster products providing enhanced storage capabilities making their way onto the market.
