Acer Iconia Smart Finally Arriving in September

The Acer Iconia Smart which was announced back in February is expected to hit the stores in September. The smartphone runs on Android Gingerbread and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.

The Iconia Smart has a 4.8-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1024×480 pixels and comes with a storage capacity of 8 GB together with 512 MB RAM.
Additional specifications include: dual cameras ( an 8 mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash and a 2 mega pixel front camera); 2G and 3G network support; Acer UI; microSD; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n; Adobe Flash Player 10.1; and, Bluetooth 2.1.
The smartphone also features multi-touch input method, support for MP3, WAV ringtones, proximity sensor, Geo tagging, HDMI port, and Document viewer that supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. The handset further includes Gmail, Google Maps, Google Search, and Google Talk.
Unfortunately the pricing details for the handset are not yet revealed.
