Sony Ericsson Announces Live with Walkman Android Smartphone

Sony Ericsson has unveiled its new Live with Walkman handset – a Walkman device that runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 as its operating system. The new smartphone has been designed with music centric users in mind and additionally includes such features as Facebook integration that allows the users to access their Facebook pages through the smartphone’s phonebook, music player, picture gallery, and calendar. It also includes the Facebook music recommendations feature.

This new Android Smartphone from Sony Ericsson has a 5 mega pixel camera with 8x zoom and auto focus. Further, the camera also has the face detection feature. Other specifications for the Live with Walkman include: a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen with 320×480 pixel resolution; 720p HD video recording; GEO tagging; and, 512 MB of RAM.
The smartphone also has a microSD card slot to accommodate up to 32 GB and its also equipped with Sony Ericsson’s xLOUD technology that further enhances the audio output. Another great addition to the smartphone is the media player’s ‘Infinite Button’ that offers fresh content about all your favorite artists along with their information, videos and you can search the lyrics too.
This new handset is expected to hit the stores in the fourth quarter of 2011 and there are no pricing details available as of now.
